Life in our societies is no longer imaginable without energy

The greatest upheaval in energy supply will take place in the coming years and decades

Current information:

After many years in the Greek renewable energy market, we will be freezing our ATLAS project and discontinuing all our activities in Greece by the end of 2025. We are doing this because our ATLAS project to produce genuine green hydrogen (directly from seawater!) has been repeatedly obstructed and blocked by third parties, and because there are no serious improvements in sight for projects to produce genuine green hydrogen. This is not exclusively a Greek problem, but rather a current standard for the EU market.
The greenwashing that is currently being promoted and will continue to be promoted in the foreseeable future does not contribute to minimizing CO2 emissions. On the contrary, the pollution will worsen as a result of the projects currently being promoted! For example, with current technology, about 11 liters of water are needed to produce one kilogram of hydrogen. In view of the increasingly severe droughts and water shortages, the question arises as to where so much water is supposed to come from on the mainland and what purpose the projects currently being promoted serve.
Strangely enough, projects in the fossil fuel industry are being promoted, which could be described as “putting the fox in charge of the henhouse.” This is no longer acceptable to us, and we therefore regret the discontinuation of the ATLAS project in Greece. Should the relevant authorities at some point decide to make genuine and serious plans to promote clean energy, we will reassess the situation and make a decision.

Starting in 2026, we will begin planning a project to produce genuine green hydrogen directly from seawater on the German coast.

Green Energies Hellas ( G E H ), is a project organization in the renewable energies market in Greece, plans, develops, builds, buys and sells projects also on behalf of partners / investors, binds and leads the project management of developers and EPCs for renewable energies projects.

G E H offers projects and solutions in Greece.

We see the area of green hydrogen as a sensible and timely solution to achieve the urgently needed climate targets and to maintain climate-neutral prosperity and to embrace a sustainable future. However, for this the green hydrogen must be really green, which means, no additional CO2 emissions during production and the water required for the electrolysis, should in no case be used from the freshwater resources!

We have developed a concept for this and call it, the ATLAS project.
We will be producing green hydrogen in Greece and we will use sea water for the production of green hydrogen and thus, protect the important and scarce freshwater resources!

You can find more information on this in the `` ATLAS Project ´´ section on this website.

Energy is now a basic need. This enables unprecedented possibilities.

Sun and wind are stable and very abundant in Greece!  It makes sense to produce clean energy from it.

Sun and wind are stable and very abundant in Greece! In order to make profitable investments from it, it also makes sense!

The Greek energy market is liberalized! which means that it is possible to market the energy produced yourself.

Good reasons to invest in renewable energies in Greece:

· Excellent wind conditions that are among the best in Europe

· Over 3,000 hours of sunshine a year

. Perfect possibilities to produce green hydrogen from renewable energies

· Long-term legal framework for creating investment security

· And especially: We only have this one planet, on which we all live and which we must finally cherish and urgently protect!
